Mining cryptocurrencies is all about the hashrate. Like horsepower, the higher the hashrate, the greater the earning potential. GPUs such as the NVIDIA GTX 1080 series, brand new RTX 2080 series or the AMD Vega 56 are particular crowd pleasers but Cudo Miner will mine on any modern standalone GPU.
If you would like the best mining GPU cards for price-to-power-to-cost ratio, these are arguably the NVIDIA GTX 1070’s or AMD RX570 / 580. Where possible get a minimum of 4GB of memory, ideally 6GB so you can mine Ethereum or other Ethash algorithms and maximise profitability.
For CPU’s the more recent and higher spec the better. AMD Threadrippers and Intel i7 perform well.
