Ethereum Classic

Ethereum Classic is the result of a hard fork of Ethereum in 2016. Ethereum Classic supports the original history of the Ethereum network before the hardfork altered Ethereum.

Bitcoin Gold

Bitcoin Gold came about through a fork of Bitcoin in 2017. Changing from Bitcoins proof-of-work algorithm SHA256 to Equihash allowing GPU’s to mine Bitcoin Gold, and moving away from specialised mining equipment like ASICs.

Ethereum

Ethereum implements the Ethash algorithm with the goal of being ASIC resistant, preferring to accommodate GPU based mining. Ethereum also provides a platform on which anyone can build and use decentralised applications that run on blockchain technology. Ethereum is therefore known as an open blockchain platform.

Ravencoin

Ravencoin uses the X16R algorithm which is ASIC resistant. A Fork of the Bitcoin code was used to build Ravencoin, however it differs from Bitcoin by having different block time reward, number of coins issued, messaging capabilities and creation of assets.

Monero

Monero is based on the CryptoNight proof-of-work algorithm and is focused on privacy, security and decentralization. On our Miner Monero can be mined with CPUs only.
