In part one of our NVIDIA review series for mining we benchmarked the RTX 2080 (watch it here) to see how it stacked up against the current king and more widely used GTX 1080 Ti. The new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 range is part of the new generation of Turing GPU-based cards released back in September 2018 and long-awaited by gamers due to sophisticated new features such as ray-tracing and deep learning super-sampling (DLSS). While this new state-of-the-art piece of gaming kit gives a significant performance boost to new AAA software titles capable of taking advantage of these new features, we decided to put it through its paces for mining crypto!
